IGA Announces BIG Awards for 2024

The Independent Garage Association (IGA) is proud to announce that they will, once again, be running the British Independent Garage of the Year (BIG) Awards in 2024 and they are set to be bigger and better in every way.

Following the resounding success of its 2023 BIG Awards, where the IGA presented each of the category winners with a £1,000 cash prize, alongside an array of prizes from the event sponsors and also donated £10,000 to the motor industry charity BEN.

Stuart James, Chief Executive of the IGA said: “After the overwhelmingly positive response to the BIG Awards in both 2022 and 2023, we are delighted, once again, to shine a spotlight on independent garages and the independent automotive sector as a whole.”

James continued, “As the independent automotive sectors leading not-for-profit trade body, we were delighted to be able to provide the well-deserved winners with an outstanding fifty thousand pounds worth of prizes, made possible by the outstanding support of our event sponsors.”

As the BIG Awards enter their third year, the IGA looks forward to another event celebrating excellence and pushing the boundaries of achievement within Britain’s independent automotive sector.

Entries will soon be open for awards nominations, along with sponsorship opportunities that will give industry suppliers and supporters, large and small, the opportunity to add their names and support to this unique event, that truly shines a light on the best of Britain’s independent automotive sector.
