Annual Training Regional Events

Due to popular demand, the RMI will once again tour our Annual Training Regional Events, where MOT Testers can complete their 3 hours’ annual training as required by the DVSA. These events are ideal for testers who are not in reach of an RMI Academy. If you’d like us to hold a training session in your local areas, please give us a call.

The event costs £70 + VAT, including the annual assessment (which must be completed outside of the training session). Places are strictly limited to 40 per event.

Here’s where the Annual Training Regional Events are being held:

The cost of your ticket includes access to this event, an RMI annual training workbook and login details to the online assessment, which must be taken outside of the course before March 31st 2018. Please note that once a login code has been issued for the online assessment, it is not refundable under any circumstances.

Attendance at this event will meet the DVSA’s minimum requirement for 3 hours annual training for an MOT Tester. Your login information for the online assessment will be contained in the workbook issued to you at this event.

IGA Member Events

As well as our Regional Training events, this year we are continuing to bring you a brand-new presentation to our member events across the country, which members have called “the best IGA event to date”.

We’ll be counting down the top 20 pieces of essential information and advice that garages need to be aware of to run their business effectively, avoid the latest scams and keep on top of new legislation. Discover how your membership lets you benefit from our experience to minimise the risks to your garage business, and ensure you’re thriving in an ever-changing, increasingly complex industry. As in previous years, the DVSA will also be joining us at our member events to discuss annual training, the MOT system and more.

Here’s where the events are taking place:

Doors will open at 9:30am and presentations will start promptly at 10:00am. Tea, coffee and a buffet lunch will also be provided, and after the event you’ll get the chance to talk to both the IGA team and DVSA and ask your questions.

All our member events are free to attend; however, you will need to book tickets in advance as places are strictly limited to 100 per event. Simply click on the event you would like to book your place (up to 3 per member).

If you’ve having problems booking tickets to any of our events, please call the member helpline on 0845 305 4230.
