IGA Member Events

We are setting off across the country again this year to present the latest member benefits, Trust My Garage and Car Repair Plan updates, and important industry and legislative news. The DVSA will also be joining us again in 2017 to discuss annual training, the future of the MOT system and more.

Here’s where the events are taking place:

Doors will open at 9:30am and presentations will start promptly at 10:00am. Tea, coffee and a buffet lunch will also be provided, and after the event you’ll get the chance to talk to both the IGA team and DVSA and ask your questions.

All of our member events are free to attend, however you will need to book tickets in advance as places are strictly limited to 100 per event. Simply click on the event you would like to book your place (up to 3 per member).

Regional Annual Training Events

You now only have until the end of the month to take your annual training and assessment as required by DVSA - if you haven’t completed yours yet, you must organise it now. Luckily the RMI is here to help with last-minute training events across the country.

The full training syllabus, as required by DVSA, will be covered on the day, and you’ll get an annual training workbook with a code for the assessment to complete in your own time. We’ve also added extra dates in Bristol and York due to high demand, so find your nearest event here:

Doors will open at 09:30am, and the events will last from 10:00am until 1:00pm. Tickets cost £70 + VAT, and places are strictly limited to 40 per event.

Automechanika Birmingham

Automechanika Birmingham has made some new and exciting changes for 2017 and is set to deliver the UK’s biggest automotive event once again from 6th-8th June 2017, NEC Birmingham.

The organisers also recently announced longer opening hours to enable both visitors and exhibitors to maximise their participation. Last year the show closed at 4:30pm, but this year the new opening hours will be 9.30am to 5.30pm on Tuesday 6th and Wednesday 7th and 9.30am to 5.00pm on Thursday 8th June.
