IGA Member Events

Closing out the last two months of the year, the IGA is continuing to bring you a brand-new presentation for our nationwide member events, which members have called “the best IGA event to date”.

At each of these events the IGA will be counting down the top 20 pieces of essential information and advice that garages need to be aware of to run their business effectively, avoid the latest scams and keep on top of new legislation. Members can also discover how IGA membership lets you benefit from our experience to minimise the risks to your business, and ensure you’re thriving in an ever-changing, increasingly complex industry. As in previous years, the DVSA will also be joining us at our member events to discuss annual training, the MOT system and more.

Here’s where our events for the rest of the year are taking place:

Doors will open at 9:30am and presentations will start promptly at 10:00am. Tea, coffee and a buffet lunch will also be provided, and after the event you’ll get the chance to talk to both the IGA team and DVSA and ask your questions.

All our member events are free to attend; however, you will need to book tickets in advance as places are strictly limited to 100 per event. Simply click on the event you would like to attend and complete the booking form to reserve your place (up to 3 per member).

If you’re having problems booking tickets to any of our events, please call the Member Helpline on 0845 305 4230 for assistance.

RMI Annual Training Regional Events

Due to popular demand, we have created another Annual Training regional event, where MOT Testers can complete their mandatory DVSA 2017/18 annual training. This 3-hour training session will cover the required syllabus for class 3, 4, 5 and 7 consisting of:

- Corrosion Assessment

- Assessment of Wheels and Tyres

Doors will open at 09:30am, with training lasting from 10:00am until 1:00pm.

Tea and coffee will be provided.

Attendance at this event will meet the DVSA’s minimum requirement for 3 hours annual training for an MOT Tester. Your login information for the online assessment will be contained in the workbook issued to you at this event.
