IGA Member Events

Heading into the last quarter of the year, the IGA is continuing to bring you a brand-new presentation for our nationwide our member events, which members have called “the best IGA event to date”.

At each of these events the IGA will be counting down the top 20 pieces of essential information and advice that garages need to be aware of to run their business effectively, avoid the latest scams and keep on top of new legislation. Members can also discover how IGA membership lets you benefit from our experience to minimise the risks to your business, and ensure you’re thriving in an ever-changing, increasingly complex industry. As in previous years, the DVSA will also be joining us at our member events to discuss annual training, the MOT system and more.

Here’s where our events for the rest of the year are taking place:

Doors will open at 9:30am and presentations will start promptly at 10:00am. Tea, coffee and a buffet lunch will also be provided, and after the event you’ll get the chance to talk to both the IGA team and DVSA and ask your questions.

All our member events are free to attend; however, you will need to book tickets in advance as places are strictly limited to 100 per event. Simply click on the event you would like to attend and complete the booking form to reserve your place (up to 3 per member).

If you’re having problems booking tickets to any of our events, please call the Member Helpline on 0845 305 4230 for assistance.

Automechanika Birmingham 2018

Automechanika is returning to Birmingham once more next year to continue showcasing the best of the Aftermarket industry. Following on from the biggest-ever show in 2017, the announcements for 2018 are underway, and are set to impress.

Event director Simon Albert said of the expanding event: “We can offer more for workshops, garages, fast fits, body shops, breakdown and mobile repairers. There will be a dedicated Workshop Quarter, tools and equipment, extended opening hours into an evening, special deals and discounts, small business support and learning.”
