Only 59 Days Left To Complete Your Compulsory MOT Annual Training
All MOT testers must complete their annual training by March 31st 2017 as required by DVSA, so if you or your testers haven’t completed yours yet, you’re very quickly running out of time.
We are aware that many testers who have already bought access to the online assessment have not taken it yet. Please remember to take your assessment before 31st March.
DVSA have stated that:
“It’s your responsibility to complete the training each year to avoid facing disciplinary consequences.”
The 2016/17 Annual Training year ends on the 31st March, but there is nothing to be gained by leaving the assessment to the last minute. Remember you may use the MOT inspection manual, special notices and your own notes during the test, and can find sample questions .
If you’re unsure how the new annual training works, for a simple guide.
The DVSA have also advised us that a number of testers are entering their results on the MOT Testing Service using the link “Tester Training Certificates” and this is causing them some problems. Please use the “Annual Assessment” link to ensure your result is correctly recorded.
