RMI Annual Training Forum Reminder - Bristol
The MOT tester refresher course has now been replaced with MOT annual training and an online assessment, which testers will need to complete in order to maintain their testing status.
The 2016/2017 annual training assessment must be completed by the end of March 2017, but with 66,000 testers across the UK needing to complete the training, we recommend that you take it as soon as possible to avoid the late rush.
The RMI now holds annual training forums across the country to help MOT testers complete their annual training. If you are local to Bristol this is a great opportunity to complete your annual training now for the year.
The forum is being held on Tuesday 14th June at Avonmouth Old Boys RFC, Barracks Lane, Shirehampton, Bristol, BS11 9NG.
The course will cover the 2016 to 2017 MOT annual training syllabus for class 3, 4, 5 and 7 vehicles as required by DVSA, consisting of:
- Driver’s view of the road
- Headlamp aim
- CPD planning and recording
Doors will open at 09:30am, with training lasting from 10:00am until 1:00pm.
Tea and coffee will be provided.
Tickets cost £70 + VAT, which includes the training session plus access to the online assessment.
The online assessment must be taken outside of the course after the training session has taken place. Please ensure that your email address is correct when ordering your ticket, as login information for the online assessment will be sent to this address.
Spaces are now running out for this event, so to book your tickets now.
The RMI also offers four other options to help testers complete their annual training. For more information, visit .
