Scam: Autodata branded phishing emails

An email will come through asking you to confirm the status of any outstanding payments due to “Autodata”. These emails are using the Autodata brand but they are not genuine, so we advise that you do not respond to them.
- Autodata will never email you to ask if you have an outstanding balance or to provide similar information.
- Autodata will never email you asking for your username or password.
- To help with security, never share your Autodata login details with others or confirm any payment details over email.
There may of course be genuine communications from Autodata when your subscription is due for renewal, or if your payment card has expired. However, if you are ever in doubt, contact Autodata directly.
If you become aware of any suspicious activity, please report it to the IGA Member Helpline on 0845 305 4230 as soon as you can in order for us to alert other members.
