As a gesture of appreciation and to celebrate the opening of the RMI’s second Academy in Runcorn, we are pleased to offer a number of free places on the MOT Tester (class 4 & 7) courses for the Academy’s opening month of July. This offer is on a first-come, first-served basis to members who have been in membership for more than 2 years. You can read more in the bulletin below, or call us now on 0845 305 4230 to reserve a place for your prospective tester.
With the election looming next week, many of the government departments we liaise with are in a state of purdah and everything appears to be on hold. It’s unlikely that we will hear anything about the MOT 4-1-1 consultation for a while but we’ll keep you posted.
Last week the Automotive Aftermarket Liaison Group announced its future positioning to support the aftermarket in a post-Brexit Britain. The IGA is an integral part of this group and will use that additional lever to drive the independent sectors issues directly to Europe.
We have now moved into the 2017/18 MOT Annual Training year and the three hours of mandatory training will need to be completed by 31st March 2018. Our popular workbook/assessment package is now available for sale. We are also about to launch a new RMI and Autodata package offer, providing the new Autodata Service and Maintenance package with membership and Technical Helpline for £995. Full details are in the bulletin below, or call us on 0845 305 4230 to find out more.
And lastly, come and see us at our member events which are now scheduled across the country, with June’s events in the West Country and Yorkshire, or at Automechanika Birmingham on stand 20B90 from 6th – 8th June.
