You will be seeing a lot of activity in the press surrounding the issue of counterfeit parts. We are working with the Intellectual Property Office to help create a campaign aimed at consumers outlining the dangers of buying counterfeit parts, and the implications of garages fitting them. The IGA has a very clear message on this “Garages should own the whole job, from sourcing the parts to providing a complete guarantee”. You can find out more about the campaign below.
The GDPR deadline is looming, and your business must be compliant with the new regulations by 25th May or risk a fine of up to 4% of your turnover. If you have completed the processes outlined in your ‘Garage Guide to GDPR’ you have no need to worry. However, for peace of mind we can provide tailored help or a certified GDPR audit on-site. Find out more in the bulletin below, or call us to book a slot.
First indications are showing that technicians are finding the 2018/19 MOT annual training more difficult and at this early stage assessment pass rates are lower than in previous years. The reality this year is that your testers could struggle to get through, therefore we are offering in addition to last years programme, a new full-day enhanced classroom course that covers the MOT changes in great detail and improves the chances of passing.
Please take the time to read the information within this bulletin, it is there to support your business. If you have any further questions, please call us on 0845 305 4230.
