Details: This award identifies an independent garage that goes the extra mile for its customers by delivering memorable, extraordinary customer care, as evidenced by their customers’ votes.
We’re looking for: Testimonials from customers that have recognised the outstanding service they received, demonstrating going above and beyond expectations consistently.Business Improvement Award
Details: This award celebrates a business that has made significant strides forward in either business growth or new initiatives within the past year.
We’re looking for: A business that can demonstrate it has taken significant strides forward in business expansion, best practice, and developing services through strong management, staff training and marketing to create an improved profitable growth.Individual Contribution Award
Details: This award recognises an individual that has made a significant contribution to the sector, by either a standalone act or prolonged engagement within the industry.
We’re looking for: An individual that has contributed to the sector with either a single activity or played a vital role in the long-term success of a business.
All nominations will undergo an initial desk top verification process from which a short list will be drawn up. Shortlisted garages will receive a site visit where relevant, and will be judged against a set criteria for their particularcategory. Finally, the judging panel will decide the winner and highly commended finalist.
- You may nominate yourself, your business or another individual or business
- Should you wish to nominate another business or individual, you must have their agreement to do so.
- All nominations must be submitted on the BIG Awards entry form
- This can be completed online, by email or by post.
- All supporting documentation must be submitted with the entry form, with the name of the nominee and the award category clearly stated as the document name.
- All entries must be received on or before the closing date. Any entries received after the closing date will not be considered.
- Shortlists and winners for each category will be selected by an independent expert judging panel.
- All finalists will be notified no less than 2 calendar months before the awards ceremony to enable them to plan their marketing and attendance to the ceremony.
- All finalists and winners agree to be photographed for promotional purposes.
- The IGA reserve the right to publish press releases, articles, case studies and photographs to carry out publicity activity relating to The BIG Awards
