Business Development Manager
Kurt Hudson is the Business Development Manager at the IGA and is part of the Management Team.
He is responsible for the Business Development Advisers who’s sole purpose is to visit all members within the IGA association and ensure they are up to date with all the products and services. Kurt works closely with the Director and Head of Member Services delivering the projects and schemes and is also responsible for the Management of the office based staff who coordinate and administrate the activities of the Business Development Advisors.
Kurt has worked around the Automotive Trade Associations since 2006, starting off at the Motor Vehicle Repairers Association (MVRA) as a Field Coordinator. In 2009 he TUPE’d over to the RMI following their acquisition of MVRA and from there he worked his way up through the Association covering various office based roles. He has also worked externally carrying out member visits, H&S inspections and assisted with the Member Roadshows. Kurt is also NEBOSH qualified which enables him to implement, manage and maintain IGA Members Health & Safety systems
Following leaving school he completed an Apprenticeship in Aerospace Engineering and then pursued his long term ambition to go to College and University where he studied for 6 years and attained his Bsc Hons in Sport & Exercise Science. Kurt is a keen footballer and attends the gym on a regular basis.
Not a lot of people know that - Kurt is currently Go Kart Champion within the IGA Management team.
