Member Events - September 2016

31 August 2016

After a short summer break, planning has begun for our member events throughout the second half of the year. The first of these will be taking place in Newcastle. Here are the details:

Tuesday 25th October: Newcastle - Blaydon RFC, NE16 3BN

As well as the latest member benefits, updates on Trust My Garage and Car Repair Plan, and industry news, the DVSA will continue to join the IGA to discuss new MOT tester training and the future of the MOT system.

This event will have a slightly earlier start time than past years due to feedback from previous events, with doors opening at 9:30am and the presentation starting promptly at 10:00am. Tea, coffee and a buffet lunch will also be provided.

Tickets are strictly limited to 100 per event, so click here to view the event details and book tickets.

We are currently busy planning more events for later on in the year, so please keep an eye out for news in next month’s bulletin if this event is too far away from you.

If you can’t attend any of our member events, trade shows are a great opportunity to come and talk to the IGA team alongside experiencing all that industry events have to offer. We will have stalls at the following Mechanex events:

Tuesday 11th - Wednesday 12th October: Donington Park

Tuesday 8th - Wednesday 9th November: Sandown Park

Mechanex is the regional aftermarket trade show, targeting active auto repair professionals primarily working in the independent sector. It is a showcase for all the latest diagnostics, parts, tools and equipment. Tickets are free, and you can visit our Events page to find out more and register to attend either one.

If you are having trouble booking tickets for an event, or have any further questions about our member events or trade shows, please call our member helpline on 0845 305 4230.
