New Government Guidance: Prepare for Brexit
HM Government has produced a new guide to help businesses prepare for Brexit, including what to do in a no deal scenario.
The UK will leave the EU on 29th March 2019 and the government state that while preparations for leaving the EU remain their top priority they must plan for every eventuality, including a no deal scenario. They recommend that employers also ensure that they too are fully prepared for a ‘no deal’.
The new guide gives you a short questionnaire to fill out, including the option to select that you’re a motor trade business, then will gather all the relevant government information your business might need throughout the EU Exit process.
You’ll find documents advising you what to do in a wide number of areas if there’s no deal, including citizen, consumer and workplace rights, looking after employees from the EU if you have any, and how vehicle type approval will be affected.
