RMI Annual Training Update - August 2016

RMI Annual Training Update - August 2016

29 July 2016

In April, DVSA changed the way in which MOT testers complete their ongoing training. Now, testers must complete three hours of training a year and pass an online assessment in order to stay compliant and maintain their tester status.

Annual training for this year must be completed by March 2017. Have you completed yours yet?

Although it may seem some time away, and you may be tempted to postpone until closer to the deadline, with over 60,000 testers needing to complete their training for the year, it’s recommended you get in there before the rush later on this year.

RMI provides a variety of avenues to complete annual training – meaning you are able to choose an option that best suits the needs of you and your company.

Annual Training Workbook

As part of the new annual training requirements, you are required to record your training, as proof that it has been completed. RMI offer an annual training workbook (£45 + VAT) which makes it really easy for you to keep track of your training, as you can sign a form at the back of the book to confirm that you have completed the required training and hours. What’s more, this option allows you to complete your training in your own time, whenever suits you best.

Being the most cost-effective, flexible option, our workbooks are flying off the shelves! You can order one now by calling us on 0845 05 4230.

For those of you who prefer more formal training, RMI Academy also provides the following training options which come complete with a workbook:
