Trust My Garage - CTSI Approval Information and Guidelines

30 November 2015

The Trust My Garage Code of Practice became a Chartered Trading Standards (CTSI) Approved Code on November 1st 2015.

This is a huge boost to your IGA membership and we’re glad to see many more of you sign up since the announcement. If you’re not a member of TMG yet you can call our member helpline on 0845 305 4230 to find out more.

We have now received official logos and guidelines from CTSI, so read on to find out how you can advertise being a part of a CTSI-backed code scheme while staying complaint with brand guidelines. Please remember that non-adherence to the guidelines may result in CTSI terminating the right of Trust My Garage and/or the member to use the logo and possibly withdrawal of code approval.

Basic Guidelines

The main guideline to remember is that the CTSI Approved Code logo must always be placed next to the Trust My Garage logo.

The logos above have been approved by CTSI and are safe to use on any of your business documentation or advertising. They can be downloaded from the member’s area of the IGA website here.

Please use these images in their original form: do not change the colour, distort or change the shape of the logo or add any effects. Click here to download the CTSI Approved Code Brand Guidelines to see the full list of available options and allowances.

If you need the logos in a different format or need further clarification, please call the member helpline on 0845 305 4230.

You can use the downloadable logos for online purposes, such as downloadable documents and social media.

Everything else

The CTSI Approved Code Brand Guidelines contain short guides on how to place the logo on letterheads and business cards. Please use the downloadable logos we have provided for these, and in any other paper documentation such as invoices.

If you have any further questions or need clarification, call the IGA member helpline on 0845 305 4230.
