You MUST complete your compulsory MOT Annual Training this month
From what we have seen so far this year, a large proportion of MOT testers still haven’t completed their annual training and assessment. This must be completed by the end of the month.
This mandatory training is set by DVSA, who has started that “it is your responsibility to complete the training each year to avoid disciplinary consequences” and “you can lose your MOT tester status if you don’t take training and pass an annual assessment between 1 April and 31 March each year.”
If you have already bought access to the online assessment but haven’t taken the test yet, please remember do this before March 31st, leaving time for re-takes if necessary.
If you still need to complete you training, the RMI has plenty of last minute options available. Here is our current availability for each package:
Annual Training Workbook - Available Until mid-March
Our annual training workbooks are a popular, cost-effective option as they allow you to train in your own time. The workbook contains login details for the online assessment, and there is also a form to sign within the book to record your training and keep on file.
We allow 7-10 days for workbooks to arrive via post and you will need time to take the training and assessment, so please order as soon as possible.
Workbooks are £45 + VAT, and you can order as many as you need by calling us on 0845 305 4230.
Classroom Training at the RMI Academy - Available Daily until March 31st
If you’re based within reach of Warwickshire, the RMI Academy is holding annual training classroom sessions every single weekday until March 31st. You’ll be able to complete both the training and assessment in one day, which makes this a convenient last-minute option.
To book a place, please call us on 0845 305 4230.
