Now that we have been officially awarded certification by Baroness Crawley, we are taking Trust My Garage to another level of awareness for consumers and fleet operators. Read about how we’ve been marketing TMG, plus the new materials being sent to you to help promote the code to your customers, below.
On the lobbying front, last month I had a very open conversation with Rory Stewart, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Environment and Rural Affairs, surrounding SWOBS. He was very engaging and is open to future discussions, however the exemption on 6th April will be lifted and SWOBS will no longer be able to burn waste oil. To turn this legislation around we need to prove that emissions created from burning waste oil are equal or lower than when burning diesel, which is proving to be a challenge. We will keep you updated with any developments.
Our first two member events of the year were such a success that we are set for another record breaking year. We know that members who come along really find the information useful, and you have the opportunity to talk to the IGA team directly after the event. Billericay, Barnsley, Havant and Silverstone are all coming up soon, so visit the IGA website to confirm your attendance.
We have negotiated a good deal for members on two new services launching this month. If you are interested in workwear or healthcare packages for your business you can find out more below, and as always there will be more member benefits on their way in the future.
Remember we are here for you on the member helpline with your problems, questions and comments – give us a call on 0845 305 4230.
