Dear Member,

“Freedom Day” has come and gone and for many businesses the legal restrictions have been lifted, however the government is warning of significant increases in the number of coronavirus infections. The last thing we need in our businesses is a member of staff either catching COVID or being pinged by the NHS Test and Trace app. Please remain diligent and protect your business by continuing to wear masks and taking precautions. Guidance on the ever changing legislation is available in this bulletin and on our COVID-19 Guidance webpage.

If you have completed your initial GarageSafe application form, on-site audits will be commencing shortly. If you haven’t returned your application yet we will be calling you to help you fill them in, and additional assistance will be provided when the field team visit your site for the second stage of the audit process. Please get in touch if you would like an application form or further information about GarageSafe.

As many of you are aware, the Trust My Garage television advert has been playing on a wide range of Freeview channels for over two years now. We are in the process of reviewing the advert to gear it towards driving customers directly to your businesses. We have provided information below about how to tell if a customer has contacted your garage via the Trust My Garage website, and how to customise your garage profile page to make it more attractive to potential customers.

Please remember, we are here to help if you need further advice on the topics in this bulletin or anything else related to running your garage business. Please don’t hesitate to call the member helpline with your questions or concerns.

Best regards,

Stuart James
